Drug intelligence / Profile preview
AT-002 is a preclinical-stage bifunctional antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developed by Adept Biopharmaceutical. It is designed to target Tumor-associated calcium signal transducer 2 (TROP-2), a cell surface glycoprotein that is frequently overexpressed in a variety of solid tumors, including breast, lung, and pancreatic cancers. The drug utilizes Adept Biopharmaceutical's proprietary bifunctional ADC platform, which aims to enhance therapeutic efficacy and improve the safety profile compared to traditional ADC technologies. By binding to TROP-2, AT-002 facilitates the targeted delivery of a cytotoxic payload directly into tumor cells, leading to cell death while minimizing systemic toxicity. It is currently being investigated for the treatment of advanced solid tumors.
