Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Atezolizumab + bevacizumab + tamoxifen is a combination regimen comprised of three distinct pharmaceutical agents: atezolizumab, a humanized monoclonal antibody that acts as a PD-L1 checkpoint inhibitor and enhances immune-mediated antitumor activity; bevacizumab, a monoclonal antibody targeting vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A), thereby inhibiting tumor angiogenesis; and tamoxifen, a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM) that competitively inhibits estrogen binding to estrogen receptors, primarily indicated in hormone receptor-positive breast cancer. While atezolizumab + bevacizumab is an FDA-approved combination for unresectable or advanced hepatocellular carcinoma, there is no evidence of clinical approval or regulatory recognition for the triple combination with tamoxifen. The triple therapy might hypothetically combine immunotherapy, anti-angiogenic, and hormonal mechanisms, but no major guideline or regulatory body lists this triplet as a standard therapy in any indication.
