Overview

atezolizumab + magrolimab is an experimental drug combination consisting of two monoclonal antibodies used in oncology clinical research. Atezolizumab is a programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) inhibitor that prevents cancer cells from evading immune detection, while magrolimab is a monoclonal antibody targeting CD47, a “don’t eat me” signal expressed by cancer cells, enhancing their removal by macrophages. Both drugs are immunotherapies with different, complementary mechanisms. This combination is under investigation for the treatment of various solid tumors and hematologic malignancies, leveraging innate and adaptive immune activation for potentially improved antitumor activity.
