Inmazeb is a fixed-dose combination of three recombinant human IgG1 monoclonal antibodies—atoltivimab, maftivimab, and odesivimab—developed by Regeneron Pharmaceuticals for the treatment of Zaire ebolavirus infection. Each antibody in the cocktail targets a distinct, non-overlapping epitope on the Zaire ebolavirus glycoprotein (GP), which is the primary protein mediating viral attachment and fusion with host cell membranes. By binding to these multiple sites, Inmazeb neutralizes the virus by blocking its entry into cells and facilitates immune-mediated clearance of infected cells through effector functions. Approved by the FDA in October 2020, it was the first authorized treatment for Ebola virus disease and is indicated for both adult and pediatric patients, including neonates.
