Overview

ATP150 + ATP152 is a combination of two protein-based therapeutic cancer vaccine components developed as part of KISIMA-02, a heterologous prime-boost cancer vaccine regimen that also involves other agents such as VSV-GP154 and, in some arms, checkpoint inhibitor Ezabenlimab. This investigational combination is designed to enhance immune recognition and destruction of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) cells, particularly those with KRAS mutations. The mechanism of action involves priming the immune system with tumor-associated antigens in a protein vaccine to stimulate an adaptive immune response, with the overall strategy intended to activate anti-tumor T-cell immunity in patients whose disease is typically resistant to standard therapies. ATP150 and ATP152 are administered together as a therapeutic protein vaccine, either alone (with viral vector) or with a PD-1 inhibitor, in a prime-boost strategy to induce robust and enduring immunogenicity in clinical trials for pancreatic cancer[1][3][5][8][10][11][16][17].
