Overview

ATRC-101 + pegylated liposomal doxorubicin is a combination therapy under clinical investigation for advanced solid malignancies. ATRC-101 is an engineered fully human IgG1 monoclonal antibody that targets a tumor-specific ribonucleoprotein (RNP) complex. It is designed to elicit anti-tumor immunity via both innate and adaptive immune responses. Pegylated liposomal doxorubicin is a reformulation of the chemotherapeutic anthracycline doxorubicin, encapsulated in pegylated liposomes to increase tumor delivery and reduce systemic toxicity; it exerts its effects mainly by inhibiting topoisomerase 2, thereby blocking DNA replication and cell division. The combination is being evaluated for potential synergistic anti-tumor activity in clinical trials, particularly in a range of solid tumors including breast, ovarian, colorectal, non-small cell lung, melanoma, head and neck, and others[1][2][4][6][8].
