Autologous adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cell (AD-MSC) therapy is a cell-based biologic developed by DNA International General Hospital in Vietnam. It is designed to treat inflammaging, a state of chronic, low-grade, sterile inflammation that occurs during aging and is linked to various age-related diseases. The treatment involves the isolation of mesenchymal stem cells from the patient's own adipose tissue, followed by expansion and intravenous re-infusion. The therapeutic goal is to modulate the immune environment, specifically by reducing proinflammatory cytokines and restoring cytokine balance, thereby addressing the underlying inflammatory drivers of conditions like diabetes, obesity, and dyslipidemia.
