Overview

SVF containing autologous non-expanded ADSC is an autologous cell therapy investigational product developed by the Bangladesh Laser & Cell Surgery Institute & Hospital. It consists of the stromal vascular fraction (SVF) freshly isolated from a patient's own subcutaneous adipose tissue through a process of enzymatic digestion and centrifugation, without subsequent cell culture expansion. This heterogeneous mixture contains adipose-derived stem cells (ADSCs), endothelial progenitor cells, hematopoietic stem cells, and various immune cells. The therapy is administered intravenously and is being investigated for the treatment of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) stages 3-5. It is hypothesized that the ADSCs within the SVF exert regenerative, anti-fibrotic, and paracrine effects to improve renal function and slow disease progression.
