This investigational cell therapy consists of autologous bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) developed by Assistance Publique - Hôpitaux de Paris (AP-HP). It is specifically designed for the treatment of cardiac allograft vasculopathy (CAV) in heart transplant recipients. The therapy involves the extraction of the patient's own bone marrow, from which MSCs are isolated and expanded. The final product, a cell suspension containing approximately 40 million MSCs per ml, is delivered via intramyocardial injection guided by the NOGA cardiac mapping system. The mechanism of action is based on the regenerative and immunomodulatory properties of MSCs, which are intended to improve myocardial perfusion, promote angiogenesis, and mitigate the chronic inflammatory processes that drive coronary vasculopathy in the transplanted heart.
