Overview

Autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy developed by Shanghai Pudong Hospital for the treatment of various hematopoietic and lymphoid malignancies. This Phase 1 clinical program evaluates CAR-T cells engineered to target specific antigens including CD19 (for B-cell malignancies), BCMA (for multiple myeloma), CD123 (for acute myeloid leukemia), or CD7 (for T-cell malignancies). The treatment involves collecting a patient's own T cells, genetically modifying them to express a CAR targeting the relevant tumor antigen, and re-infusing them following lymphodepleting chemotherapy with fludarabine and cyclophosphamide. The primary goal is to assess safety and efficacy in patients with relapsed or refractory disease.
