Overview

Autologous CAR-T cells developed by The Affiliated People's Hospital of Ningbo University represent a suite of investigational chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapies designed to treat various relapsed or refractory hematologic malignancies. These therapies involve the ex vivo genetic modification of a patient's own T cells to express CARs specific to one of several targets: B-lymphocyte antigen CD19 (for B-cell lymphoma and leukemia), Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 17 (BCMA, for multiple myeloma), Interleukin-3 receptor subunit alpha (CD123, for myeloid malignancies), or T-cell antigen CD7 (for T-cell malignancies). Following lymphodepleting chemotherapy with fludarabine and cyclophosphamide, the engineered cells are re-infused into the patient, where they recognize and eliminate cells expressing the target antigen. This program is currently being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials to assess safety and preliminary efficacy across multiple blood cancer indications.
