This is an autologous dendritic cell vaccine developed by **Institut Paoli-Calmettes** for the treatment of **acute myeloid leukemia (AML)**. The vaccine is a personalized cell-based biologic immunotherapy manufactured by differentiating dendritic cells from the patient's own cells and pulsing them with autologous leukemic apoptotic cells (leukemic blasts). This approach allows the dendritic cells to present a broad spectrum of the patient's own leukemic antigens to the immune system without requiring prior knowledge of specific tumor antigens. The vaccine is designed to activate T lymphocytes and generate a tumor-specific immune response, aiming to eliminate minimal residual disease and prevent relapse in AML patients who have achieved complete remission. It was evaluated in a Phase I/II clinical trial (NCT01146262) specifically targeting elderly patients.
