Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This experimental cell-based immunotherapy combination is being developed by PT. Prodia Stem Cell Indonesia (ProSTEM) for the treatment of advanced nasopharyngeal cancer. The therapy consists of autologous dendritic cells (derived from the patient's own immune cells) and an allogeneic dendritic cell secretome (a collection of bioactive factors and cytokines secreted by donor dendritic cells). It is intended as an adjuvant therapy for patients who have achieved a partial response or stable disease following standard radiochemotherapy. The autologous dendritic cells are designed to prime the patient's immune system against tumor antigens, while the allogeneic secretome is hypothesized to enhance the immune-stimulatory environment and inhibit cancer progression. The treatment is administered via intramuscular injection.
