Overview

Autologous stromal vascular fraction (cSVF) combined with mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) is a combination cell therapy protocol developed by Black Tie Medical for the treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The therapy involves the isolation of cSVF from the patient's own adipose tissue, which contains a heterogeneous population of regenerative cells including stem cells, endothelial cells, and pericytes. This is supplemented with autologous MSCs that are isolated, concentrated, and cryopreserved for interval administration. The treatment aims to address the neuroinflammatory and immune dysregulation components of ASD through the immunomodulatory and anti-inflammatory properties of the transplanted cells. It is typically administered intravenously as part of a multimodal protocol that may also include dietary modifications and fecal microbiota transplantation.
