Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Autologous StroMed Cell Therapy + PRP is a combination regenerative therapy developed by VivaTech. It utilizes a patient's own adipose-derived stromal/stem cells (ADSCs), which are extracted using a proprietary ultrasound cavitation method (StroMed), combined with autologous platelet-rich plasma (PRP). The therapy is administered via intra-articular injection to treat osteoarthritis of the knee, hip, and shoulder. The mechanism of action relies on the synergistic effect of the ADSCs' regenerative potential and the growth factors provided by the PRP to facilitate tissue repair, reduce joint inflammation, and improve functional outcomes in patients with degenerative joint disease.
