Autologous tumor lysate-pulsed dendritic cell vaccine is a personalized cellular immunotherapy developed by the Republican Research and Practical Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology in Belarus. The therapy is produced by isolating a patient's own dendritic cells (DCs) from peripheral blood and loading them with a lysate derived from the patient's own tumor tissue. These matured, antigen-loaded DCs are then re-administered to the patient to act as professional antigen-presenting cells. By presenting a broad spectrum of patient-specific tumor-associated antigens to the immune system, the vaccine aims to prime and activate T-cells (both CD8+ cytotoxic and CD4+ helper T-cells) to recognize and eliminate pancreatic cancer cells. This approach is designed to overcome tumor-induced immunosuppression and establish long-term anti-tumor immunity.
