Overview

Avelumab + PF-04518600 is a combination of two monoclonal antibodies developed for cancer immunotherapy. Avelumab is a fully human IgG1 monoclonal antibody that targets programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1), functioning as a checkpoint inhibitor to potentiate anti-tumor immune responses. PF-04518600 (also known as ivuxolimab) is a humanized IgG2 agonist monoclonal antibody that targets OX40 (also known as CD134), a co-stimulatory receptor on activated T cells, promoting T cell proliferation, survival, and effector function. This combination is under clinical investigation for use in various advanced or metastatic solid tumors, with the aim of harnessing both checkpoint blockade and co-stimulatory immune activation for greater anti-tumor efficacy[1][2][4][6][7]. Trials are conducted primarily with intravenous administration.
