Drug intelligence / Profile preview
The avian infectious coryza trivalent inactivated vaccine, developed by Youbang Pharmaceutical, is a veterinary biologic designed to prevent infectious coryza in poultry. Infectious coryza is an acute respiratory disease caused by the bacterium *Avibacterium paragallinarum*, characterized by symptoms such as nasal discharge, facial edema, and conjunctivitis. This trivalent vaccine contains inactivated bacterial strains representing the three primary Page serogroups (A, B, and C), providing broad-spectrum protective immunity against the diverse strains of the pathogen. It is formulated as an inactivated (killed) bacterial vaccine and is approved for use in chickens to reduce the clinical impact and spread of the disease within flocks.
