Overview
AZD4547 + letrozole is a combination therapy consisting of AZD4547, a potent and selective inhibitor of Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor (FGFR)-1, 2 and 3 receptor tyrosine kinases, and letrozole, a non-steroidal aromatase inhibitor. This combination was investigated in the RADICAL trial for treating estrogen receptor positive (ER+) breast cancer patients who had developed resistance to aromatase inhibitors. The therapy aims to reverse endocrine resistance in breast cancer cells by targeting FGFR signaling while maintaining hormonal therapy.
