Overview

AZD8205 + rilvegostomig is an investigational combination therapy for advanced or metastatic solid tumors. - **AZD8205** is an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) that targets the B7-H4 protein on tumor cells. It consists of a human anti-B7-H4 monoclonal antibody linked to a topoisomerase I inhibitor (TOP1i) payload. Upon binding to B7-H4-expressing cancer cells, the ADC is internalized and releases the cytotoxic TOP1i warhead inside the cell, causing DNA damage and cell death[6][8][9]. - **Rilvegostomig** (also known as AZD2936) is a bispecific monoclonal antibody that simultaneously targets TIGIT and PD-1 immune checkpoint proteins. By blocking both TIGIT and PD-1 pathways, it aims to enhance T-cell mediated anti-tumor immunity[2][7].
