Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Azelastine + fluticasone (Humanis Saglık) is a generic fixed-dose combination nasal spray developed by the Turkish pharmaceutical company Humanis Saglık Anonim Sirketi for the treatment of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis. The formulation contains azelastine hydrochloride, a second-generation antihistamine that acts as a selective H1-receptor antagonist, and fluticasone propionate, a potent synthetic corticosteroid that functions as a glucocorticoid receptor agonist. This dual-action approach provides both rapid symptomatic relief and long-term anti-inflammatory effects. The product is a generic version of the reference listed drug Dymista and has undergone a Phase 1 bioequivalence study (NCT06180083) in healthy volunteers to demonstrate pharmacokinetic comparability to the brand-name original.
