**Azenosertib + bevacizumab** is an experimental combination therapy being investigated primarily for cancer treatment. Azenosertib (also known as ZN-c3) is a small molecule inhibitor of WEE1 kinase, which regulates the G2/M cell cycle checkpoint, promoting cancer cell death by enhancing DNA damage in tumor cells. Bevacizumab is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody targeting vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A), thereby inhibiting angiogenesis and tumor vascularization. The rationale for the combination is that disruption of tumor cell cycle regulation by azenosertib may synergize with blockade of tumor vascular supply by bevacizumab, potentially increasing anti-tumor efficacy, particularly in solid tumors like ovarian and endometrial cancer.
