Overview
This combination regimen was evaluated in a clinical study (NCT05014308) led by Dr. Manimarane Arjunan for the early treatment of home-quarantined COVID-19 patients. The protocol utilized a multi-faceted approach: **azithromycin** (a macrolide antibiotic) for potential immunomodulatory and antibacterial effects; **cetirizine** (an antihistamine) to address potential histamine-mediated inflammation; **paracetamol** (acetaminophen) for fever and pain management; and a combination of **zinc**, **vitamin C** (ascorbic acid), and **vitamin D** (cholecalciferol) for nutritional support and immune function.
