**Azvudine + tenofovir fumarate + efavirenz** is a three-drug oral antiretroviral combination designed for the treatment of human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) infection. - **Azvudine** is a nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NRTI) that acts by inhibiting the HIV reverse transcriptase enzyme, thereby interfering with viral DNA synthesis and replication. - **Tenofovir fumarate** (often used as tenofovir disoproxil fumarate, TDF) is a nucleotide reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NtRTI) interfering with HIV replication by causing early chain termination during DNA synthesis. - **Efavirenz** is a non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NNRTI) that binds to an allosteric site of HIV-1 reverse transcriptase to inhibit its activity. This three-drug combination, while similar in functional concept to commonly used regimens (such as with lamivudine or emtricitabine in place of azvudine), is not a known fixed-dose product, but each component is well-characterized in antiretroviral HIV therapy. These agents act on different parts of the reverse transcriptase enzyme, enabling potent viral suppression and resistance mitigation.
