Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BA1104 + BA1106 is an investigational combination cancer immunotherapy developed by Boan Biotech (a subsidiary of Luye Pharma). The combination consists of BA1104, a proposed biosimilar of the PD-1 inhibitor nivolumab (Opdivo), and BA1106, a proprietary, non-IL-2-blocking anti-CD25 monoclonal antibody. BA1106 selectively targets CD25-overexpressing regulatory T cells (Tregs) to deplete them via antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) while preserving IL-2 signaling and sparing effector T cells (Teffs). By combining Treg depletion with PD-1 checkpoint inhibition, the regimen aims to synergistically enhance anti-tumor immune responses. The combination is being evaluated in clinical trials for advanced solid tumors, including non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and gastric cancer.
