Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BA3011 + PD-1 inhibitor is an investigational combination therapy consisting of **mecbotamab vedotin (BA3011)**, a conditionally active biologic (CAB) AXL-targeted antibody-drug conjugate (ADC), together with a PD-1 inhibitor (most frequently nivolumab, but can encompass other anti-PD-1 drugs). BA3011 is designed to selectively deliver a cytotoxic payload to AXL-expressing tumor cells, while the PD-1 inhibitor blocks the PD-1 immune checkpoint pathway to enhance antitumor immune response. Combination use aims to exploit both direct tumor cell killing (by BA3011) and immune modulation (by the PD-1 inhibitor). It is under clinical evaluation for metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and sarcomas[1][2][3][4][5][6].
