Overview
**Bactelide** is an investigational sustained-release topical bacteriophage cocktail developed by Precisio Biotix Therapeutics for prevention and treatment of antimicrobial-resistant bacterial infections in chronic wounds, initially pressure injuries. The product encapsulates multiple bacteriophages in a biodegradable polymer-based microcapsule delivery system intended to enable penetration and prolonged phage release within the wound bed. Its registered Phase 1/2 study targets pressure injuries colonized by *Staphylococcus aureus*, *Pseudomonas aeruginosa*, or *Klebsiella pneumoniae* as an adjunct to standard wound care.
