Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A combination drug consisting of three monoclonal antibodies—**bamlanivimab**, **etesevimab**, and **bebtelovimab**—designed for the treatment of mild to moderate COVID-19. All three components are neutralizing IgG1κ monoclonal antibodies that target distinct epitopes on the surface spike protein of SARS-CoV-2. By binding to the spike protein, they inhibit viral attachment and entry into human cells, thereby reducing viral replication and disease progression. These antibodies were originally developed as separate agents with demonstrated activity against various SARS-CoV-2 variants. The triple combination is intended to enhance antiviral efficacy and reduce the risk of viral escape mutants.
