BAT1308 + BAT6005 is an investigational combination immunotherapy being developed by Bio-Thera Solutions for the treatment of advanced solid tumors. The combination consists of two monoclonal antibodies: BAT1308, which targets the Programmed Cell Death Protein 1 (PD-1) receptor, and BAT6005, which targets the T-cell immunoreceptor with Ig and ITIM domains (TIGIT). BAT1308 acts as a checkpoint inhibitor by preventing the interaction between PD-1 and its ligands (PD-L1/PD-L2), thereby restoring T-cell mediated anti-tumor immunity. BAT6005 blocks the TIGIT pathway, an inhibitory signaling mechanism found on T cells and Natural Killer (NK) cells that often contributes to immune exhaustion in the tumor microenvironment. By simultaneously inhibiting both PD-1 and TIGIT, the combination therapy is designed to provide synergistic immune activation and overcome resistance to single-agent checkpoint inhibition. It is currently being evaluated in Phase I clinical trials for various malignancies, including gastric, esophageal, and non-small cell lung cancers.
