Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BB-1701 + sintilimab is an investigational combination regimen consisting of BB-1701, a HER2-targeting antibody-drug conjugate (ADC), and sintilimab, a programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) blocking monoclonal antibody. BB-1701 is composed of a humanized anti-HER2 IgG1 monoclonal antibody conjugated to the microtubule inhibitor eribulin via a cleavable Mc-PEG2-Val-Cit-PABC linker. Sintilimab is a fully human IgG4 monoclonal antibody that blocks the interaction between PD-1 and its ligands (PD-L1 and PD-L2), thereby restoring T-cell mediated antitumor immune responses. The combination is being evaluated in Phase II clinical trials for the treatment of HER2-expressing or HER2-mutated advanced or metastatic solid tumors, including HER2-low breast cancer and HER2-mutant non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
