Overview

BCD-115 + endocrine therapy is a combination regimen of BCD-115, an orally bioavailable small molecule inhibitor of cyclin-dependent kinase 8 (CDK8) and cyclin-dependent kinase 19 (CDK19), administered together with endocrine therapy in women with estrogen receptor positive, HER2-negative (ER+, HER2-) locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer. BCD-115 targets the Mediator complex kinases (CDK8 and CDK19), modulating gene transcription linked to tumor progression. Endocrine therapy includes agents—such as aromatase inhibitors or selective estrogen receptor modulators/downregulators—that inhibit estrogen receptor signaling. The combination aims to improve clinical outcomes in ER+, HER2- breast cancer by targeting parallel pathways involved in cancer cell growth and survival.
