Overview

BCMA-CD70 CAR-T cells is a dual-targeted chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy being developed by the Affiliated Hospital to the Academy of Military Medical Sciences. It is designed to simultaneously target B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA) and CD70, two proteins frequently overexpressed on the surface of malignant plasma cells. By targeting two antigens, the therapy aims to overcome antigen escape and improve the depth and durability of response in patients with high-risk plasma cell neoplasms, such as multiple myeloma. The treatment involves the infusion of autologous T cells genetically engineered to express CARs against both targets, typically following a lymphodepleting chemotherapy regimen of fludarabine and cyclophosphamide.
