Overview

**BCR-ABL multipeptide vaccine** is an investigational therapeutic cancer vaccine developed by Tehran University of Medical Sciences for chronic myeloid leukemia. The product comprises ten synthetic peptides derived from the BCR-ABL fusion oncoprotein and is administered subcutaneously with plasmid DNA encoding interleukin-12 and granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor as immunologic adjuvants. It is intended to elicit BCR-ABL-specific antitumor T-cell responses in patients with persistent molecular disease while they continue imatinib therapy. The vaccine was evaluated in the completed Phase 1 study NCT00455221.
