Cyclophosphamide acts via DNA cross-linking to inhibit rapidly dividing cells and is widely used to treat cancers such as lymphoma, leukemia, breast cancer, and several autoimmune diseases for its immunosuppressive effects[2][4][6][8]. The combination of BDB-001 and cyclophosphamide is investigational and would be expected to couple direct suppression of inflammatory complement components (by BDB-001) with broad immunosuppression through DNA alkylation (by cyclophosphamide).
