Overview
BE-102 is a veterinary therapeutic candidate developed by BiomEdit, designed to reduce *Campylobacter jejuni* colonization in broiler chickens. It employs a bacterial-vectored delivery system to produce and release an antibody fragment that specifically targets the pathogen within the avian gastrointestinal tract. By neutralizing the bacteria and reducing its colonization, BE-102 aims to provide pathogen protection and serve as a non-antibiotic alternative for managing foodborne pathogens in livestock. This approach is intended to enhance food safety and contribute to the reduction of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in the poultry industry.
