Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Becotatug vedotin + pucotenlimab + cisplatin is an investigational combination regimen being evaluated for the treatment of locally advanced, epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR)-positive head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC). The regimen combines three distinct therapeutic modalities: becotatug vedotin (an antibody-drug conjugate targeting EGFR conjugated to the microtubule inhibitor monomethyl auristatin E), pucotenlimab (a humanized IgG4 monoclonal antibody targeting programmed cell death protein 1), and cisplatin (a platinum-based DNA-damaging chemotherapeutic agent). This triple combination leverages targeted cytotoxic delivery, immune checkpoint blockade, and DNA-damaging chemotherapy to maximize anti-tumor efficacy in the neoadjuvant setting prior to definitive surgery or chemoradiotherapy.
