Befotertinib + bevacizumab is an investigational combination therapy consisting of two distinct agents used in oncology. Befotertinib (also known as BPI-7711) is a third-generation epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) tyrosine kinase inhibitor designed to target EGFR mutations, including T790M resistance mutations commonly found in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Bevacizumab is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody that targets vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A), inhibiting angiogenesis and thereby restricting tumor blood supply and growth. The combination aims to provide synergistic antitumor effects by simultaneously blocking tumor cell proliferation via EGFR inhibition and suppressing tumor vascularization through VEGF blockade. This regimen is under clinical investigation for advanced or metastatic NSCLC with EGFR mutations.
