Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Belrestotug + pembrolizumab** is an investigational drug combination for oncology, specifically under evaluation for the treatment of advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with high PD-L1 expression. Belrestotug is an anti-TIGIT (T-cell immunoreceptor with Ig and ITIM domains) monoclonal antibody, developed to enhance anti-tumor immunity by blocking immunosuppressive signaling through TIGIT and thereby activating T cell and NK cell anti-cancer responses. Pembrolizumab is an established immune checkpoint inhibitor targeting the programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) pathway, thereby preventing tumor-mediated T cell suppression. The combination aims to produce synergistic immune activation by blocking both TIGIT and PD-1 axis. Pembrolizumab is approved for various cancers, including NSCLC, whereas belrestotug remains investigational.
