benazepril + valsartan + fluvastatin

This is a combination drug consisting of benazepril, valsartan, and fluvastatin. Benazepril is an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor used primarily for hypertension and heart failure. Valsartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) also indicated for hypertension, heart failure, and post-myocardial infarction management[4]. Fluvastatin is a statin that inhibits HMG-CoA reductase to lower cholesterol levels. The rationale for combining these agents lies in their complementary mechanisms targeting both blood pressure regulation (via the renin-angiotensin system) and lipid lowering (via statin therapy). Clinical studies have shown that combinations such as benazepril with fluvastatin or valsartan with fluvastatin may improve outcomes in patients with atrial fibrillation or cardiovascular risk factors by reducing arrhythmia burden, improving vascular function, and providing additive benefits on blood pressure and lipid profiles[1][2][3][5].
