Overview

**Bendamustine + gemcitabine + vinorelbine (BeGEV)** is a combination chemotherapy regimen used as salvage induction therapy prior to autologous stem-cell transplantation (ASCT) in patients with relapsed or refractory Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) after one prior line of chemotherapy. It consists of bendamustine (90 mg/m² IV on days 2-3), gemcitabine (800 mg/m² IV on days 1 and 4), vinorelbine (20 mg/m² IV on day 1), and prednisolone (100 mg PO on days 1-4), administered every 21 days for four cycles in an outpatient setting. In a multicenter phase II trial (NCT01884441), it achieved a 73% complete response rate and 83% overall response rate in 59 patients, with successful stem-cell mobilization in 96% of evaluable cases and favorable 2-year PFS of 62% overall (81% post-ASCT). Common grade 3-4 toxicities included neutropenia (14%), thrombocytopenia (14%), febrile neutropenia (12%), and infection (7%), with high dose intensity (>98%) maintained.[1][2][4]
