**Benfotiamine + pyridoxine + cyanocobalamin** is a combination drug composed of three B vitamins: benfotiamine (a fat-soluble derivative of thiamine/Vitamin B1), pyridoxine (Vitamin B6), and cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12). This combination is primarily used to treat or prevent deficiencies in these vitamins, particularly in patients with nutritional deficiencies, neuropathy, or anemia. Mechanistically, benfotiamine supports nervous system health and glucose metabolism as an active form of thiamine[5]. Pyridoxine is essential for amino acid metabolism and nerve function, and cyanocobalamin is necessary for red blood cell formation and myelin synthesis. The combination also demonstrates synergetic effects including anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and neuroprotective properties; it may potentiate analgesia via modulation of sodium channels, P2X receptors, adenosine receptors, and various neurotransmitter pathways[3][4]. It has been studied for use both alone and as an adjunct to nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) for the management of neuropathic pain, low back pain, and other conditions involving nerve damage[3][4].
