Overview

This combination therapy is being evaluated for the treatment of recurrent epithelial ovarian, fallopian tube, and primary peritoneal cancers. It consists of three distinct agents: benmelstobart (TQB2450), a humanized monoclonal antibody that acts as a PD-L1 checkpoint inhibitor; anlotinib, a multi-targeted small molecule tyrosine kinase inhibitor that suppresses angiogenesis by targeting VEGFR, FGFR, PDGFR, and c-Kit; and cyclophosphamide, an alkylating chemotherapy agent administered in a metronomic (low-dose, frequent) schedule. The regimen aims to achieve synergistic anti-tumor activity by simultaneously enhancing the immune system's ability to recognize and attack cancer cells, inhibiting the blood supply to the tumor, and exerting direct cytotoxic effects while potentially modulating the tumor microenvironment to be less immunosuppressive.
