Benralizumab + budesonide is a combination therapy used for the treatment of severe eosinophilic asthma. This combination leverages two distinct mechanisms to control asthma symptoms: **Benralizumab (Fasenra)** is a humanized anti-interleukin 5 receptor α (IL-5Rα) monoclonal antibody that works through a dual mechanism: 1. It blocks IL-5 from binding to its receptor, preventing the heterodimerization of α and βc subunits 2.
