Berubicin is a chemical compound developed as an anticancer agent. It was initially developed by Reata Pharmaceuticals through Phase 1 clinical trials. CNS Pharmaceuticals subsequently acquired all rights and obtained a worldwide exclusive license for Berubicin (also known as WP744) from Houston Pharmaceuticals, Inc. It is being investigated for the treatment of recurrent Glioblastoma Multiforme (WHO Grade IV) and CNS lymphomas. A specific formulation, Berubicin Hydrochloride, is administered intravenously.
