Overview

This is a combination chemotherapy regimen that includes multiple anti-cancer agents with different mechanisms of action. Bevacizumab is a monoclonal antibody that inhibits vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), preventing tumor angiogenesis. The other components are traditional chemotherapy agents: capecitabine (an antimetabolite), cyclophosphamide (an alkylating agent), docetaxel (a taxane), and doxorubicin (an anthracycline). This combination may be used in clinical trials or specific treatment protocols for various cancers, particularly advanced or metastatic solid tumors.
