Overview

A combination therapy consisting of bevacizumab (a monoclonal antibody targeting vascular endothelial growth factor), lomustine (an alkylating agent), and temozolomide (an oral alkylating agent). This regimen is used primarily for the treatment of recurrent glioblastoma multiforme. Bevacizumab inhibits angiogenesis by binding to VEGF, while lomustine and temozolomide are cytotoxic agents that damage DNA in cancer cells.
