Overview

This is a combination regimen consisting of three agents: bevacizumab, nab-paclitaxel, and tislelizumab. Bevacizumab is a monoclonal antibody targeting vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A), inhibiting angiogenesis and thereby restricting tumor blood supply. Nab-paclitaxel (nanoparticle albumin-bound paclitaxel) is a cytotoxic chemotherapeutic agent that stabilizes microtubules, preventing cell division. Tislelizumab is an immune checkpoint inhibitor targeting programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1), enhancing the immune system’s ability to recognize and destroy cancer cells. This triple combination has been investigated in phase II clinical trials for first-line treatment of advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and other solid tumors, aiming to leverage antiangiogenic therapy, cytotoxic chemotherapy, and immunotherapy for synergistic antitumor effects[3].
