Overview

A combination therapy consisting of bevacizumab (an anti-angiogenic monoclonal antibody targeting VEGF), paclitaxel (a microtubule-stabilizing chemotherapeutic agent), and vorinostat (a histone deacetylase inhibitor). This regimen has been studied primarily for metastatic breast cancer, where vorinostat induces histone and alpha tubulin acetylation and functionally inhibits Hsp90 in breast cancer cells, potentially enhancing the efficacy of paclitaxel and bevacizumab.
