Overview

A combination therapy consisting of bevacizumab, a recombinant humanized monoclonal IgG1 antibody that inhibits vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), and panobinostat, a histone deacetylase inhibitor. This combination was investigated for its potential synergistic antineoplastic and antiangiogenic effects in recurrent high-grade gliomas, including glioblastoma and anaplastic glioma.
