Bevacizumab + vinorelbine is a combination regimen of two anticancer agents used primarily in the treatment of advanced or metastatic cancers, including non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer (nonSq-NSCLC) and breast cancer. Bevacizumab is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody that targets and inhibits vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A), thereby blocking angiogenesis—the formation of new blood vessels essential for tumor growth. Vinorelbine is a semisynthetic vinca alkaloid that disrupts microtubule assembly, inhibiting mitosis and leading to cell death. Preclinical data suggest vinorelbine may also possess antiangiogenic properties. The combination has been studied for its efficacy and safety profile, showing activity in patients with previously treated NSCLC as well as potential benefit in heavily pretreated HER2-negative metastatic breast cancer[1][2][6].
